What would be a nice matching tattoo for my brother and I to get?

My brother and I are extremely close and we have been through a whole lot in our life. We have a very special bond that is really hard to describe. I practically raised him and we are only 3 1/2 years apart. We decided to get matching tattoos to symbolize our close bond and remind each other that there is always someone there that will trust and believe in the other without judging. We were thinking maybe some sort of celtic knot or chinese symbol. Maybe something to do with love, friendship or strength. Something on the smaller side and tasteful. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you!

Celtic knots are an interesting idea. Subtle. A lot of the other celtic things are pretty too. I wouldn't go with a chinese symbol, as they're too easy to get wrong, and suddenly instead of "loyalty" you have "special fried rice"
